Understated elegance and romance reign supreme in this Nashville wedding captured by Erin L. Taylor Photography. This couple’s joy is contagious and it’s impossible not to fall instantly in love! The neutral color palette of greens and creams looks effortless in this dreamy venue with its rich wood floors and exposed brick. Their favors added a special family connection by giving honey from the family’s bee farm.
We met in Nashville three years before our wedding and knew we wanted to get married in the city we met. We found The Cordelle and a couple other vendors on Instagram and fell in love! Our style was simple and elegant. We wanted our wedding to feel classic and something that we loved just as much in 20 years.
The actual ceremony will be something we remember for the rest of our lives! Walking out for the first time as husband and wife while our friend and family cheered us on.
It was most important for us not to go overboard. We wanted everything to be beautiful and a lot of times, less is more. We kept our colors simple, our design simple, and the feel of our ceremony and reception was simple and elegant.
The colors we were drawn to were greens and creams. We also decided to layer that with wood accents and the color grey throughout.
My little sister Susan Bird designed all of our paper goods: save the date, invitation set, and thank you cards. Our favors were provided by my Aunt and Uncle’s bee farm. We used the honey and provided ‘family’ honey as our favors.
We loved the dance floor and our band. Also, every time we look at our photos and wedding video it brings us back and we are so thrilled that we choose Erin and Alyssa to capture our day.
