With neutral tones to complement the natural beauty of Napa Valley, this dreamy estate wedding from Jordan Weiland Photography is everything you can hope for in a romantic outdoor wedding! The venue is utterly breath-taking, with a castle like backdrop for the ceremony that is magical. All of the details are simplistic and effortlessly elegant, making it an instant favorite!
Our wedding was on our close family friends estate in Calistoga, CA, The Wallis Family Estate. When we moved from Florida to California The Wallis family took us in as our home away from home. Justin and I would spend many holidays there. When we got engaged Marilyn & Edward Wallis invited us to have our wedding there. It meant the world to us!
I did include my grandmothers bracelets and wore them throughout ceremony and evening.
Something else that was really special to us was the actual ceremony. Our officiant had this amazing idea to include advice from our friends and family into the actual ceremony. This allowed us ask some very important people in our lives and include others who were unable to attend the wedding.
The most important part in the planning process was making sure all of our guests felt like family. We planned around this whole idea. We wanted all the tables and dancing in the same area so that everyone felt like they were part of the party. We planned our dining experience around this idea as well. We wanted everyone to feel like they were in eating in a vineyard. So dinner started at sunset under market lights and the food was served family style. We paired meal with Wallis Family Estate wines.
When it came to the color and style Justin and I wanted compliment the property. The property had amazing olive trees so we pulled the green colors from those. I have always loved white flowers and the simplicity of them. I add a pop of red in my bouquet to pull in the idea of red wine to play of the winery theme.
I designed and created all the paper goods. Invitations, welcome bags, seating tags on the cookies and I even created the seating chart sign.
The dinner was by far my favorite part of the entire wedding. To sit in an outside setting at sunset with all your friends and family surrounding you under market lights was truly amazing. I felt as though I was in a dream. We felt so thankful and lucky to have all those amazing people travel so far to surround us with so much love. We both just sat there in awe.
