Our colors were burgundy, navy, blush, and some cream to balance it out. I really wanted something that was fall-ish but still adding the summer glow. For location we really wanted something simple and intimate as we had invited just our closest family and friends (50 guests total). An outdoor wedding was definitely a must and Sah-hah-lee was the perfect place. There was complimentary putt putt golf as well for the kids that came to our wedding.
We planned this wedding in about 4 months even though we had been engaged for a year and half. Budget was definitely important as well as keeping everything intimate. We really wanted everyone to have a good time and our personalities to shine through the wedding themes. My family was also very traditional in the sense that they did not want me to see my groom the day before the wedding and our first look was when I walked down the aisle! Timing was very important in order to not have an accidental reveal. Everything was perfect!

All the signs were made by my sister in law and she did a beautiful job handwriting them. My bridesmaid made the signs for the table and she worked with me to design the invitations to cater everything I wanted. I had initially looked into purchasing invitations, but found that none of the ones I found had everything I wanted. Either the font was wrong or the color was the wrong shade. She also helped me make labels for my party favors (bubble champagne bottles). I am so thankful for both of them in helping my wedding vision come to life.
Most favorite part was of course being married to my best friend/high school sweetheart in front of our closest family. My sister from overseas was also able to come to our wedding after I hadn’t seen her for over 10 years. It was exciting to have all our loved ones all in one place. Events leading up to the wedding were also special as we grew closer to old friends and formed new bonds.
