It’s all rustic romance with today’s Charlottesville vineyard wedding captured by Nikki Santerre Photography! You are going to fall in love with the music themed details (how fun are the vinyl record ‘chargers’?!) and the soft whimsical color palette. But our favorite details are all the sweet ways that the bride Christian included her late father in her big day.
My inspiration for my wedding was a soft, romantic look. I think you can best describe it as rustic chic. The color palette was dusty blue and blush. There was also an overall music theme of the wedding. My husband and I love music, so we took old vinyl records and spray painted them a brush nickel color. We then attached our own designed wedding label on top and they were used as the chargers on the tables. The wedding favor was a CD that we designed and each table was labeled with a certain song from our wedding album.
I wore the pearls that my father gave my mother the Christmas before he passed away. I also attached my dad’s wedding ring and my favorite picture of him on my bouquet. It was very important to have a piece of my dad with me that day. It was a way for me to feel his presence and honor him. I not only live for him on my wedding day but everyday I carry him with me.
It was most important to us to capture our personalities and what we love most about each other. The music theme was really important to me because it’s been a huge part of both of our lives.
We made the programs, the party favors, the chargers, all the lawn games, the photo booth, the seating assignment presentation, the dessert table presentation, etc. I felt like my mom and I made it all! My mom even has to bustle my dress herself bc no one could figure it out lol!
We loved absolutely everything! One of my favorite parts was seeing all the details and my wedding vision coming to life! I literally poured my heart and soul into our wedding, and to see it all come together was a dream! Of course, my number one favorite part was when “two became one” and I married my absolute favorite human in this world.
