This sweet and intimate fall lodge wedding by Jay & Jess Photography has so much heart! It doesn’t get more charming than a lakeside ceremony and one big long table for your reception! I love all the greenery and touches of blush and gold to add a bit of romantic flair. The hanging craft paper seating chart is perfection!
The style of our wedding was rustic chic. Our decorating really centered around what was already there and focused on complimenting all the surrounding vegetation and vineyards.
We picked to have our wedding at the DA Ranch because we wanted our wedding to feel like a destination wedding without all the travel. We are both from the desert so we really loved how green everything was, from the vineyards to the lake it was our oasis in the middle of a desert.
The best part of our day was after the ceremony while everyone was enjoying cocktail hour my new husband and I got to sneak away. We stood under this weeping willow by the lake and soaked it all in.
What was most important was that we had fun! We have been to so many weddings that follow the rules on what a wedding is “supposed” to be that sometimes it can get a little stuffy. It was really important to us that we as well as our guests had fun and got to relax and feel like one big family for the day.
