Your vintage wedding dreams are sure to come true with this elegant styled shoot from Party Designs by Jax! There are so many timelessly chic details to fall for. We love the gold frame escort card display and how perfect is the off the shoulder lace wedding gown?
It was important for this inspirational shoot to convey the beauty and elegance of the everyday bride in the early 20th century – not the glamour and flashiness of Great Gatsby or the riches and extravagance of Downton Abbey, but a more traditional wedding that would have been, and is today, accessible for all brides, that is glamorous in its simplicity and attention to detail and rich in its overflowing love.
The concept came to me while I was cleaning the vintage China collection that was handed down to me from my grandparents. This particular piece combined gold, ivory, and pink in a beautiful pattern that reflected the early 1900s perfectly but still felt modern. A dream was born out this observation and an inspirational wedding design began to take form. With a team of 20 vendors, that little inspiration grew into a full-blown styled wedding that was a reflection of the early 1900s, but with a modern twist.
