Romantic Estate Wedding

Starting off the week with this romantic estate wedding captured by Q Avenue from Modern Vintage Events. I love the rich jewel tone colors paired with blushes and creams, it makes for such a dreamy color combination.

We wanted our wedding to really be an experience for our guests but at the same time be very relaxed and show our personalities. We chose the Carnton Plantation because it has so much history there and was also just a beautiful venue. I fell in love with the garden there! We were able to open up the plantation house during cocktail hour and our guests were given tours of the house.

The most important part to us was to really keep remembering why we were doing all of this. It was so that we could celebrate spending the rest of our lives together with all of the people that were most important to us. We focused a lot on the ceremony and the vows because in the end that is what was most important to us.

I don’t really have one specific favorite part of the day but one of the most memorable parts was just seeing my husband’s face after the ceremony and realizing just how happy we both were!

As far as colors go I just wanted to keep everything pretty neutral except for the flowers. I really wanted them to stand out so I chose mostly greenery with some deeper jewel tones.
