For this month’s vintage wedding dress post, I am sharing my top picks from the 1950’s. If you love that retro ’50’s look, you are going to love all these gowns! The 1950’s style has that natural waist, fit and flare cut that is so flattering on so many body types. I am a pear shape and I love this look because it really shows off my smaller waist. This era was also in love with lace so there are some beautiful vintage examples for all you lace lovers.
This gown from Rue De Seine has the sweetest lace cap sleeves and lots of layers of lace.
I love the beautiful lace neckline of this gown from Mill Crest Vintage. A long chiffon skirt and soft tulle flutter sleeves make this dress really unique.
The illusion neckline and scallop edge lace are what I fell for with this 1950’s dress from Dear Golden.
The 1950’s also made the tea-length gown popular and this lovely lace and taffeta dress from Rue De Seine is a beautiful example.
I love the quarter length lace sleeves of this chiffon and lace gown from Beloved Vintage Bridal.
This lace sleeve ball gown from The Vintage Mistress is a stunner and such a classic look.
The unique lace and illusion neckline caught my eye with this sweet tea-length dress from Fab Gabs.
The tiered tulle on this Gossamer gown is so darling.
This long sleeve lace gown from Beloved Vintage Bridal is 1950’s perfection with it’s layers of tulle and tea-length cut.
This tulle and lace gown from The Vintage Mistress is a dream. I love the short scallop lace sleeves.
Do you love the ’50’s look? Would you wear a vintage gown? What other eras do you love?
