Romantic Vintage New Orleans Wedding

Today I’m sharing this romantic New Orleans wedding from Tying the Knot. I love all the meaningful and vintage details, everything is so classic and chic! And they have one of my favorite ideas, a live painter. Having a live painter capture your day is such a sweet way to record your memories and cherish them for generations.

Our wedding was such a special time…a time filled with so much love and so many cherished memories! It wasn’t just the day itself, but the whole process that made this time so special. The days spent with my Mom, planning and putting together all the little details that made our day so special and intimate, are days I’ll treasure forever!

It was very important to me to include and carry on the memories of loved ones who were no longer with us! By doing so, there were many old family photographs scattered throughout our reception venue. My grandparents cake topper also adorned the top of our wedding cake. Antique vases, china, silver and lace belonging to my great grandmother were used, as well.

Being a December wedding, I wanted to capture the feel of an intimate, cozy Christmas gathering. My expectations were more than met… it truly felt like “coming home”! The love of family and close friends that surrounded Aaron and me on our wedding day will be with us always!

The best part of the whole day though, was the beautiful marriage ceremony, celebrating the love Aaron and I have for each other!
