Even though fall is at an end and winter is here, I couldn’t resist sharing this apple picking engagement session from Meagan Abell Photography. I actually went picking at this same orchard this fall for my first ever apple picking, so I just love this couple’s story!
They say Virginia is for lovers. For us, it’s always been true. We are high school sweethearts that have been together for over ten years. We began dating in the middle of October, when the apples are crisp, and have been venturing to Carter Mountain Orchard for years. When the Charlottesville location became the backdrop for our proposal, it also became an important part of our relationship. The honesty we see in each other’s eyes is almost as breathtaking as the mountain views. They say Virginia is for lovers, but we always feel like they’re referring to us.
