Today I’m sharing a beautiful vintage fall wedding from Marcella Treybig. I love the dusty blue color for an autumn wedding. It still looks great for fall, but is unexpected and unique. My favorite detail is the baby breath filled suitcase to hold the escort cards, so lovely!
It was such a special day, albeit the unexpected rain (some say it’s good luck!) forced my outdoor wedding to become an indoor one! At the last minute we had tents put up and the ranch house prepared for our reception.
My dress was from BHLDN and the flowers were made by me, with the help from friends. I had just started my own floral design business (Juliet Custom Floral Design) and although I loved the outcome…boy what a task for a busy bride the day before her wedding! ;)
My vision for the day was “vintage spanish” hence the papel picado, doilies, and of course the mariachi band! I didn’t want a perfect cookie cutter look so you’ll notice lots of odds and ends decor that I collected from vintage shops and family.
Again, it was an incredible day. I married my best friend that I’ve known since birth. Our parents were friends since they were teenagers and our connection with family and friends never ceases to surprise me. It was truly meant to be! Just 4 days after our wedding I found out I was pregnant.
