I really don’t even know where to start with today’s gorgeous pink DIY farm wedding! It has the most adorable little bridal party, the sweetest ceremony, and DIY inspiration for days! I think my favorite details are the little hankie table numbers. Such a darling idea! What is your favorite?
The beautiful bride Amanda shares:
The most important thing to us when planning the wedding was our faith in our Lord Savior Friend and Father Jesus Christ. We wanted him to be the honored guest and we wanted to incorporate elements of our faith in the ceremony. We had a 7 foot cross built that we knelt in front of and took our first communion together as man and wife. It was one of our favorite moments as my brothers acapella group sang Phil Whickam’s song Beautiful.
One special moment was riding up to the ceremony site with my father in an old model t car having him walk me down the isle and conducting the ceremony. After we got out of the car and walk down a few steps we both stopped and looked up right as we did the sun came out bright and shined on our faces. The presence of God at the ceremony site was undeniable even to those who were not believers. There was a slight breeze that kept blowing up my cathedral length veil. We wrote our own vows and it was special to look one another in the eye and to speak from the heart.
