This shoot was born out of the desire to showcase, especially in this season, how special an intimate wedding can be by channeling the warmth of the Italian coast and classic European elegance all in the quiet setting of a private residence. Just because it’s a petite affair does not mean that a romantic ceremony with a unique guest experience isn’t attainable. The modern meets old-world invitation suite queues the warm celebration and gives a subtle nod to the organic florals. Walking through the private garden, guests are greeted onto the stone terrace for the ceremony to take place beneath the smilax archway. Ushered into the reception under the pergola strung with cafe lights, guests find their names on the seating chart featuring a personalized wax seal and deeply textured romantic artwork while antique floral frogs display each guest’s place at the table. A buttery white cake surrounded by personal pies for each guest and pears, a subtle nod to the European inspiration, concludes the evening on a sweet note.
