Rustic Boho Fall Wedding

If you love jewel tones, today’s fall wedding captured by T&K Photography is sure to find you head over heels! The bridal party is boho chic perfection, with a variance of lace dresses in jewel tone hues that is so perfect for autumn.

My husband and I grew up in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. The mountains have made for a beautiful backdrop in our everyday lives, and we knew we wanted to incorporate them into our wedding. While searching for venues, I immediately fell in love with The Barn at Chestnut Springs. The location provided beautiful mountain views, lush greenery, and a gorgeous barn converted into a stunning reception hall—all of which were perfect for my bohemian-style wedding.

The color palette consisted of mix-and-match jewel tones that created a bold and unique look. The colors were utilized in my bouquet and flower crown, and when paired with my long-sleeve gown, the fall in East Tennessee, and timeless venue, my bohemian vision was brought to life. I wore my mother’s pearl necklace as my “something borrowed.” It is a gift that my mother intends to pass down to be worn on special occasions for generations to come.

As with many couples, it was important for my husband and I to remain budget-friendly when planning the wedding. However, finding the perfect photographers were of utmost importance for us. Once the food and drinks are gone, and the music has stopped, all that’s left of the wedding day (aside from the marriage itself), are the memories. It was essential to find photographers who could capture our memories from that day and enable us to relive them over and over again through their art.

All of the centerpieces were DIY/handmade. I purchased several old books from second-hand thrift stores, and tied them together with twine. I placed river rock in my grandmother’s canning jars and added moss and candles. The centerpieces were simplistic, but they helped tie in the overall bohemian, vintage theme.

My favorite part of our wedding day was the ability to be PRESENT while professing and celebrating our love in front of our closest friends and family.
