Today I’m sharing this sweet and Southern Nashville wedding from Jen & Chris Creed. I love the classic and neutral color palette and the charming rustic details!
To put it simply, Chad and I had our dream wedding. From the beginning of the planning, we wanted a wedding that exemplified the beautiful of our home state of Tennessee and brought out our Southern roots. Cedarwood of Nashville took our simple idea of a Southern wedding and turned it in a beautiful and classic affair. Chad and I were so blessed to have our friends and family surround us on our special day. Our amazing wedding planner, Courtney from Cedarwood, had every detail perfected.
The light pink and white flowers were gorgeous, the shrimp and grits was astounding, the band was hopping, and we could not have asked for a more flawless day. Chad’s chocolate truffle and peanut butter cake was the hit of the night, while I loved my almond and buttercream cake with the added coffee bar. We kicked off the dancing with “Hey, pretty girl” while our parents had a surprise for everyone and broke out to a choreographed dance to “The Bird”. We danced the night away before leaving to a stream of sparklers waving us on as we drive off in vintage Rolls Royce.
We have to send so much love to our families who supported us from day one. We want to thank my gracious parents who financially provided for the day, and we had an amazing wedding party who looking stunning in their lace dresses and pink seersucker bow ties. And thanks to Jen and Chris Creed, we have such beautiful pictures to remember our special day.
